The Header Page refers to your global page header. This will most likely contain your company logo. It can also contain text, among other things. The settings on this page are global. This means that the settings you apply here are carried over to every page on your site. This makes it easier for you to keep the look and feel consistent for all pages.

The following will walk you through setting up your header. Also make note that you do not have to have a header.

Header Layout

The Header Layout section allows you to choose your header orientation. In short, it's the overall look of your web site. There are 8 different layouts to choose from. The following is a description of what each section represents.

  • HEADER: This is your page header.
  • INFO: This is your page content.
  • MENU: Your navigation menu.

Make note of the 2 header layout options highlighted in pink. These layouts have no MENU. If you choose either of these 2 options, you will not be able to click on your "Login" menu option, which allows you to login to your site!




Page Content (HTML, CSS, Javascript)

The Page Content section allows you to construct your page header using HTML, CSS, Javascript, or simply plain text. You can also use images and PDFs in your header. This is the core of your page header. This is what determines what your header will look like. Upload Images for Page Content (GIF, JPG, PNG)

This sections enables you to upload images for your page header. You are allowed to upload GIFs, JPGs, and PNGs. This is normally where you would upload your company logo.

Upload PDF for Page

This sections allows you to upload a PDF for use in your header. When you use a PDF in your header, there will be a PDF icon that the visitor will have to click on to view the document. It will not show the actual content of the PDF in your header.

Current Images

After uploading images, you will see them individually listed in this section. From this section you can change the images Mouse Text (Alt Tag), Web Link, Description, or delete the image.




Current PDF(s)

After uploading PDF(s), you will see them individually listed in this section. You can change the PDF(s) description, or you may delete it entirely.




Upload Image for Header Background: (GIF, JPG, PNG)

This section allows you to upload a background image for your header. After you upload a background image, it will show in this section.




Finally, when you are done making changes, you need to click the SAVE button at the very bottom of the page. Also note you may change any portion of your page header at any time.
